Blastique is widely credited as a sonic surgeon of sorts, and has rapidly become one of Malaysia’s pioneer dance music exports.
His assertive and progressive sounds have already earned him successful releases on; Electrofly (UK), Silo Recordings (UK) and Yellow Finger (UK) to name a few, receiving props and support from; Hybrid (Distinctive), Andy D (Ministry of Sound), Farace (Kick It Recordings), Mobius, Nick Thayer (Fingerlickin, Streetwise), Soul of Man (Fingerlickin), Vlad Sokolov (TCR, LondonBreaks, MoS) & Precision Cuts (Smart Breaks, Simple), among many others.

In Malaysia, as an Ableton Certified Trainer, audio engineer, producer, production consultant and Director of Mile High Sounds, his services have been sought after by clients, producers, and artists including; Ableton, Heineken, Tiger Beer, Malaysian Airlines, BMW, Nadia Aquila, Goldfish, Caprice, Gerard Singh, Junji Delfino and David Gomez, Daniel Veerapen and Noryn Aziz.

Reuben currently runs ‘Mile High Sounds’, an Ableton Certified private Music Production, Consultancy and Educational Institution, and specializes in teaching; Production, Engineering and Performance Techniques with Ableton Live.

Blastique was also selected as one of the judges for Astro Hitz.tv’s Spinmaster DJ Competition.
